A pocket door runs right into the wall. With it open there is nothing to see: no leaf, no frame cutting the view in two, just the opening.
The catch is that the pocket has to be built into the wall, so a pocket door must be in the drawings before the wall goes up. In return there is no sliding door that gives a cleaner opening.
