Bonded glass corners and open-corner sliding doors

Some of the most distinctive solutions in modern architecture come about when the boundary between inside and out very nearly disappears.

In many of our projects we therefore work with profile-free glass corners, where the panes meet directly with no corner profile showing, or with sliding door solutions where the whole corner opens and leaves a free, unbroken transition to the outside.

Solutions like these take more than a good product. They depend on the architecture, the load-bearing structure and the glazing system being planned as one from the very beginning.

An open or profile-free corner puts strict demands on the structure above it, so that deflection and loads are not carried straight into the glass or the sliding door system.
